  • 32 pieces of iron core with solid materials, the suction is more smooth and tight.
  • Provides silver alloy contacts with strong conductivity and flame retardant housing.
  • With copper coils with strong electromagnetic suction when the coil is energized.

Normal Working and Installation Conditions

1. Ambient temperature: -5℃~+40℃, the average value should not exceed +35℃ within 24 hours.

2. Altitude: <2000m.

3. Atmospheric conditions: When the temperature reaches 40℃, the relative humidity of atomsphere should be <50%. When at relatively low temperatures, it could have higher relative humidity. Monthly maximum relative humidity could be not more than 90%. Special measures should be taken if there is occurrence of dews due to temperature changes.

4. Class of pollution: Class 3

5. Installation category. Ⅲ

6. Installation conditions: The inclination degree between the installation surface and the vertical surface does not exceed ±5°.

7. Impact shock: AC contactors should be installed and used in the place where there are no strong shakes and impacts.

KNOWLEDGE BASE --- The structure of the AC contactor
1. Electromagnetic system.
The electromagnetic system consists of a coil, an E-shaped static iron core and an anchor core. The head of the static iron core is equipped with a short-circuit ring, which is used to prevent the vibration of the armature when the AC current crosses zero.
2. The contact part includes three pairs of main contacts and four pairs of auxiliary contacts. The main contact is composed of three groups of bridge-type moving contacts and three pairs of static contacts on the upper and lower sides. The contact is made of silver alloy material, which has a large capacity and allows a large current to pass through and plays an important role in connecting and disconnecting the main circuit. The static contact, the static iron core and the coil are integrated while the bridge-type moving contact and the armature are integrated. Contacts have two types, normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC). When the coil is not energized, the contacts in the broken state are called normally open contacts and the contacts in the closed state are called normally closed contacts. The number of normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts among the four pairs of auxiliary contacts of the contactor can be arbitrarily combined. What's more, auxiliary contacts are only allowed to be used in control circuits with small currents.
3. Arc extinguishing cover. The AC contactor with a current above 40A provids an arc extinguishing cover, which is used to limit the arc generated when the main contact is broken, so as to avoid contact sintering or fusion welding.
