Normal Working and Installation Conditions

1. Ambient temperature: -5℃~+40℃, the average value should not exceed +35℃ within 24 hours.

2. Altitude: <2000m.

3. Atmospheric conditions: When the temperature reaches 40℃, the relative humidity of atomsphere should be <50%. When at relatively low temperatures, it could have higher relative humidity. Monthly maximum relative humidity could be not more than 90%. Special measures should be taken if there is occurrence of dews due to temperature changes.

6. Installation conditions: The inclination degree between the installation surface and the vertical surface does not exceed ±5°.

  • After the AC contactor coil is energized, the contactor does not move or acts abnormally.
It is mainly because the coil control circuit is disconnected, the coil is damaged, the thermal relay does not reset after operation, the rated voltage of the coil is higher than the line voltage, the spring contact pressure is too large or the release spring pressure is too large or the contact process is too large.
  • After the coil is powered off, the contactor does not release or delay release.
The main reason is that there is no air gap in the column and the remanence is too large in the magnetic system. The surface of the contactor core is oily after using for a while or the reason is that the contact welding resistance is poor and the contact current is large when the motor starts or the circuit is short-circuited.
  • The coil is damaged due to overheating.
This is mainly because the operating frequency and power continuity of the loop exceed the technical requirements of the AC contactor. The core surface is not flat or the air gap is too large or there is mechanical damage and the moving part is stuck. The last reason may be that the ambient temperature is too high or the air is humid or contains corrosive gas so that the coil insulation is damaged and the installation position should be replaced.
  • The electromagnet is too noisy.
Because the contact spring pressure is too large, the contact stroke is too large or the connecting pin of the armature and the mechanical part is loose as well as the clamping screw.
