7.5 hp VFD comes with high quality IP20, CE certified, floor mounted. High performance 1 phase to 3 phase AC drive converts single phase power supply 220V-240V input to three phase 220V~415V output, widely used in compressor conveyors, fans, pumps. High performance VFD with phase converter built in C2/C3 standard EMC filter, delivering constant torque vector that requires speed by adjusting frequency.

Our VFD are suitable for single phase and split phase input power supply.

How does VFD reduce high starting current of induction motor?
VFD (variable frequency drive) is also called AC drive, can start the induction motor with a low frequency. Hence, the motor runs at low speed with a lower starting current. When the machine reaches that low frequency, the VFD then increases the frequency in a timed manner until the motor obtains its operational speed.
Why VFD is used to control motor speed widely? One of the outstanding reasons is that users can set VFD to allow the motor to run at almost any lower speed, which can avoid some faults of pulley and its associated drive belt and lower project expenses accordingly.
