Features
1. M7, M12 pointer indicates 4-20mA remote transmission and mechanical upper and lower limit alarm (adjustable alarm point) functions. M7 pointer local indication + mechanical upper and lower limit alarm (alarm point is adjustable), the upper limit alarm setting range is 50-100%, the lower limit alarm setting range is 0-50%, and the alarm hysteresis setting range is 0-5% , When the relay output is connected to the FB889 safety grid, an intrinsic safety explosion-proof system can be formed.
2. The metal tube variable area flowmeter is applicable for flow measurement of medium with small diameter and low flow velocity.
3. There are low requirements for front and rear straight pipe sections.
4. Two displays are optional: the pointer indicating the instantaneous flow, the LCD displaying the instantaneous flow and the cumulative total (LCD type).

KNOWLEDGE BASE --- Installation Instructions
1. The metal tube float flowmeter must be mounted vertically on the non-vibration pipeline. The fluid flows through the flowmeter from bottom to top and the verticality is ≤ 2° and the horizontal angle is ≤ 2° when installed horizontally.
2. In order to facilitate the maintenance and replacement of flow meters as well as cleaning of measuring pipelines, metal tube float flowmeters installed in process pipelines should be equipped with bypass pipelines and bypass valves.
3. The inlet of the metal tube float flowmeter should adopt a straight pipe section of more than 5 times the diameter of the tube and the outlet should have a straight pipe section of 250 mm.
4. If the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, flocs or solid impurities, magnetic filters should be installed.
5. When used for gas measurement, the pressure loss of pipeline should be not less than 5 times that of flowmeter so as to make the float work steadily.
6. In order to avoid the deformation of flowmeter caused by pipeline, the flange of process pipeline must be coaxial and parallel to the flange of flowmeter. Pipeline support should avoid pipeline vibration and reduce the axial load of flowmeter. The control valve in measurement system should be installed downstream of flowmeter.
7. When measuring gas, if the gas discharges directly into the atmosphere at the outlet of the flowmeter, the valve should be installed at the outlet of the instrument, otherwise the pressure drop will be produced at the float and the data will be not true.
8. When installing the flowmeters with PTFE lining, flange nuts should not be unsymmetrically tightened to avoid PTER lining deformation.
9. Variable area flowmeters with liquid crystal display should avoid direct sunlight to reduce the life of liquid crystal. Instruments with lithium battery power supply should avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environment (≥65℃)to avoid reducing the capacity and life oflithium battery.
