5 kVA isolation transformer is a 3 phase transformer with electrostatic shields, H-grade 180-degree enameled wires, converting primary voltage 415V to secondary voltage 200V. Optional enameled copper/ aluminum wires, open/ enclosed type, the silicon steel sheet adopts a new square iron core. Dry type isolation transformer with low prices, short lead time.   • Silicon Steel Sheet: New cold rolled silicon steel sheet, 0.27mm, 0.30mm, 0.35mm of thickness, excellent performance.

KNOWLEDGE BASE --- Three Phase Isolating Transformer Principle
The principle of 3 phase isolation transformer is the same as that of ordinary transformer. The electrical isolation transformer is made according to the principle of electromagnetic induction. Isolation transformer generally refers to a 1:1 transformer. Because the secondary is not connected to the ground. There is no potential difference between any secondary line and ground and it is safe to use and used asmaintenance power supply.

Not all isolation transformers are 1:1 transformers. The power supply for the control transformer and electronic tube equipment is also an isolation transformer. Those power supplies such as tube amplifiers, tube radios, oscilloscopes and lathe control transformers are all isolation transformers. For example, a 1:1 isolation transformer is commonly used for safe maintenance of color TVs. Isolation transformers are used more widely and they are also used in air conditioners.

Although the primary and secondary windings of general transformer also can isolate the circuit, the capacitance between the two windings will still cause electrostatic interference between the circuits on both sides in the case of high frequency. In order to avoid this interference, the primary and secondary windings of isolation transformer are generally placed on different core legs to reduce their capacitance. The primary and secondary windings are also placed concentrically, but electrostatic shielding should be placed between the windings to obtain high anti-interference.

How to do the electrostatic shielding? It is to set up an unclosed copper sheet or non-magnetic conductive paper between the primary and secondary windings, which is called a shielding layer. The copper sheet or non-magnetic conductive paper is connected to the shell with a wire. Sometimes a shielding shell is also covered throughout the transformer in order to obtain a better shielding effect. The lead terminal of the winding is also shielded to prevent other external electromagnetic interference. In this way, the main residual magnetic coupling between the primary and secondary windings can be achieved and the equivalent distributed capacitance between them can be less than 0.01pF, thereby greatly reducing the capacitive current between the primary and secondary windings and effectively suppressing various interference from the power supply and other circuits.
