75W Brushless DC (BLDC) motors feature high efficiency and excellent controllability. The 3-phase brushless DC motor comes with 12V/ 24V/ 48V/ 310V rated voltage, 0.24Nm rated torque, 0.72Nm peak torque, round flange / square flange, optional brushless motor speed controller and gearbox. A Brushless DC motor is used in many advanced applications of the industry.

Features

  • The BLDC motor has three motor wires and Hall wires and works well with a brushless DC motor controller, which has high performance for good control. Easy for speed adjustment and reversible direction.

Can a brushless motor be DC?

Brushless motors have some features. Such motors that use electronic commutation with DC external characteristics are called brushless motors because the emergence of brushless motors breaks the strict boundaries between AC and DC speed control systems. There are two common types of brushless motor structures. Namely, brushless DC motor and AC commutation brushless motor.

The power of the brushless DC motor is provided in the DC mode. According to the method of obtaining the DC power, there are two main realization methods of the brushless DC motor: the AC-DC-AC control system and the DC-AC control system, which are usually called a square wave.

The AC commutation brushless motor uses a thyristor inverter to directly convert 50Hz AC power to AC power and its frequency is supplied to the motor as the rotor runs and its speed regulation characteristics are also similar to DC motors. At this time, the motor input is a sine wave.

It can be seen that, in fact, AC commutation brushless motors are much more complex than brushless DC motors. Additionally, there are actually some differences in the actual naming, brushless DC motors always use the original name, and AC commutation brushless motors are called permanent magnet synchronous motors.

If the inverter is integrated inside the motor, it can still be called a DC motor if the input is DC. However, the high-power inverter is usually external to the motor, so the power provided by the motor through the inverter is actually AC. The brushless DC motor is similar in structure to the permanent magnet synchronous AC motor and the difference is that the input of the brushless DC motor is a square wave, while the input of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is a sine wave.

75W brushless DC motor with planetary gearbox comes with optional 12V/24V/48V DC voltage, rated speed 3000 rpm and rated torque 0.24N.m. Gear ratio for the BLDC motor with gearbox can be chosen from 4:1 to 250:1. Motor length, shaft, voltage, cable, controller etc. can be customized for special needs. A drawing for the BLDC planetary gear motor can be provided to the customer.

Planetary Gearbox Features

1. The output shaft of the double support structure greatly improves the bearing torque of the gearbox.

2. The wheel and the planet frame are splined, which greatly enhances the internal gearbox bear torque, and improves the service life of the BLDC motor.

3. The helical teeth are adopted in the part that is connected with the motor, which makes the gearbox transmission more stable and the noise is lower under the condition of high speed. The inner gear part of the gearbox adopts a segmented structure, which makes the speed ratio distribution of the gearbox wider and the structure design of the whole motor more flexible. The connection between the gearbox and the motor adopts the spigot positioning, and the axial locking screw makes the brushless DC motor with a planetary gearbox more precise and the noise is low.

4. Double support structure of output shaft and first-stage helical tooth scheme is adopted, the inner hole grinding process of planetary gear makes the inner hole roundness less than 0.003mm and the tooth surface hardness is HRC60 degree precision scraping. The adoption of this series of processes enables the gearbox to have a smooth operation, making its life span more than 10,000 hours.

5. The needle roller cage is used in the planetary gear and the sliding friction is replaced by rolling friction so that the life of the gearbox is longer.
