450W (1/2HP) brushless DC motor features 1.43 Nm torque, 3000 rpm speed, 12V/24V/36V/48V rated voltage, and optional planetary/ worm gearbox and BLDC drive. High torque low rpm brushless motor is a 3-phase brushless DC motor. The brushless motor length, shaft, keyway, speed, voltage, and power of high torque brushless motor can be customized.

Features

  • The BLDC motor has three motor wires and Hall wires and works well with a brushless dc motor controller, which has high performance for good control. Easy for speed adjustment and reversible direction.
  • The brushless direct current motor can be equipped with a planetary gearbox/worm gearbox for effective speed control and increasing torque for your needs. The gear ratio is up to 4:1-250: 1 for options.

KNOWLEDGE BASE --- Brushless DC Motor Applications

High-power brushless DC motors are widely applicable in the automotive industry including wheel drives, air-conditioning compressors, air-conditioning blowers, AGVs, purifiers as well as air extractors.

1. Brushless DC motor for vehicle wheel drives

There are four types of motors used in vehicle wheel drives, namely, DC brushed motors, AC induction motors, brushless DC motors, reluctance motors, etc. and it is proven that brushless DC motors have more advantages than others. The electric vehicles are driven directly by four independent wheeled motors. The inverter is used for electronic commutation instead of mechanical commutator and electric brush. This structure is convenient for high-speed operation and does not affect the motor when users are replacing the tire, which is very simple and convenient.

2. Brushless DC motors for automotive air conditioners

The low-voltage and high-current brushless DC motor for automotive air conditioners can solve such problems of the original brushless DC motor, such as high noise, short life, and difficult maintenance, and also can improve the motor performance. Additionally, its rated voltage is 2V, which adds difficulties to the design of brushless DC motors due to the limited structure. The stator punching sheet comes with a 2-slot structure. Because the brushless DC motor has a low voltage and high current, double wire winding is used to reduce wire diameter in order to ensure that the current density is not too high.

The rotor adopts a 4-pole structure with surface permanent magnets pasted. The permanent magnets are made of rare earth permanent magnet material NdFeB. Due to the high remanence and coercivity of NdFeB and the short magnetization direction, the permanent magnets adopt radial tile type.

3. Brushless DC motor for car purifier

Car purifiers mostly adopt brushless DC motors to drive centrifugal fan blades to discharge dirty air. The brushless DC motor usually comes with a two-phase bridge commutation drive circuit. The inner stator winding can be easily wound around the core teeth. The motor adopts an outer rotor structure and the stator as well as stator windings are placed inside the rotor. The commutation drive circuit adopts an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), thus the circuit is simple and it has the function of control and protection.

High torque brushless DC motors are widely used in electric bicycles, inverter air conditioners, washing machines, drones, automobiles, CNC machine tools, polishing and grinding equipment, packaging machinery, tools, turnstiles, industrial control, medical machinery, automation, AGV cars, aerospace and intelligent storage equipment and other motion control fields.

450W high torque BLDC motor delivers high performance with a matched planetary gearbox having various gear ratios and mounting flange 60*60 or 90*90mm at the gear-head. A high-quality brushless DC planetary gear motor can be used for many industrial applications. 

Planetary Gearbox Features

1. The output shaft of the double support structure greatly improves the bearing torque of the gearbox.

2. The wheel and the planet frame are splined, which greatly enhances the internal gearbox bear torque, and improves the service life of the BLDC motor.

3. The helical teeth are adopted in the part that is connected with the motor, which makes the gearbox transmission more stable and the noise is lower under the condition of high speed. The inner gear part of the gearbox adopts a segmented structure, which makes the speed ratio distribution of the gearbox wider and the structure design of the whole motor more flexible. The connection between the gearbox and the motor adopts the spigot positioning, and the axial locking screw makes the brushless DC motor with a planetary gearbox more precise and the noise is low.

4. Double support structure of output shaft and first-stage helical tooth scheme is adopted, the inner hole grinding process of planetary gear makes the inner hole roundness less than 0.003mm and the tooth surface hardness is HRC60 degree precision scraping. The adoption of this series of processes enables the gearbox to have a smooth operation, making its life span more than 10,000 hours.

5. The needle roller cage is used in the planetary gear and the sliding friction is replaced by rolling friction so that the life of the gearbox is longer.
